Happimess Camp Liability Waiver & Release Agreement

By registering my child for a Happimess camp, I acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that art activities and sensory play involve the use of various materials, including but not limited to paints, clay, water, and small objects. While all materials are non-toxic and meet Canadian safety standards, I recognize the inherent risks associated with these activities, including but not limited to minor injuries, allergic reactions, or potential staining of clothing. I assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages that may occur during participation.

2. Medical Authorization

In the event of an emergency, I authorize Happimess staff to seek medical care for my child as deemed necessary. I understand that every effort will be made to contact me or the emergency contact provided. I accept full financial responsibility for any medical treatment required.

3. Supervision & Behavior Expectations

I understand that Happimess staff will provide supervision during camp activities but that my child is expected to follow all safety rules and instructions. If my child's behavior is deemed disruptive or unsafe, Happimess reserves the right to remove them from the program without a refund.

4. Clothing & Personal Belongings

I acknowledge that art and sensory activities can be messy and that Happimess is not responsible for any damage to clothing or personal belongings. I agree to send my child in appropriate attire for such activities.

5. Allergies & Medical Conditions

I am responsible for informing Happimess of any allergies, medical conditions, or special needs my child may have prior to camp participation. While reasonable accommodations will be made, I understand that Happimess cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

6. Liability Waiver & Release

I hereby release, waive, and discharge Happimess, its owners, staff, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising from my child's participation in camp activities, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

7. Media Release Policy

As a policy, Happimess does not take identifiable photos of children. Any photos taken during camp will either obscure the child’s face (e.g., with their artwork) or be taken from an angle that does not show their face. By signing below, I acknowledge and consent to this media policy.

8. Cancellation Policy

By signing below, I acknowledge that I have reviewed Happimess' cancellation and refund policy, which can be found on our website. I understand that the policy applies to my child’s participation in camp and agree to its terms.
