We help children gain key art skills, increase self-esteem as they build new skills, and deepen connections to their talent and technique. Each week will cover a different theme; for example a famous artist, space, fairy tales, fantasy characters, and more.
Pick-up for our art classes is available from Squamish Elementary & GHE through our after-school program.

Our semesters and classes follow the SD48 school calendar so there are no classes on statutory holidays or Pro-D days.

We also understand that convenience is key for busy families, which is why we offer FREE pick-up from schools through our after-school program.

Tiny Talents

Tiny Talents is the perfect introduction to art! Through fun, step-by-step projects, young artists explore drawing, painting, mixed media, and simple crafts while building confidence, fine motor skills, and creativity. Every class is designed to spark imagination in a supportive environment where curiosity, messy hands, and artistic expression are always encouraged.

Fine Arts & Design
Intermediate level | Ages 8+ | Year 2+ of Happimessing
Our signature art program blends fine arts, applied arts, and creative design into one inspiring class. Students explore drawing, acrylic painting, mixed media, crafts, and design projects while building artistic skills and gaining more creative independence. With different projects offered on Mondays and Wednesdays, students can even join both classes for twice the creativity!

Perfect for artists who love to draw, Shape & Shade focuses on portraiture, observational drawing, and watercolour techniques. Students strengthen their understanding of proportion, shading, light, and form while developing confidence and refining their artistic style in a relaxed studio environment.

Art Fundamentals
Advanced level | Ages 12+ yo | Year 3+ Happimessing

Designed for independent artists, Art Fundamentals offers the freedom to explore personal creativity while strengthening technical skills. Students work with a variety of professional mediums—including acrylic, gouache, watercolour, pencil, and more—through guided lessons, observational studies, and self-directed projects that culminate in a unique piece for the annual Happimess Art Gallery.
