Family Events

More than classes. More than play.

Our Family Events bring the community together—whether you’re here to connect, learn something new, or just enjoy time with your people.

Our Community Chats are a monthly, parent-focused add-on to our Saturday sensory play sessions—designed to build connection, reduce isolation, and create space for real conversations.

While your little ones explore and play in a safe, engaging environment*. At the same time, you’re invited to join a casual, guided chat led by local professionals and community members—set up so you can listen, participate, and connect while staying present with your child.

Each month brings something a little different—sometimes it’s a meaningful conversation around mental health, parenting, or identity, and other times it’s practical, everyday support (like learning how to trim your kid’s bangs without the chaos).

Because sometimes what we need is support… and sometimes we just need helpful tips and a room full of people who get it.

*Parents remain responsible for supervising their own children throughout the session.

Kids play while parents connect—together, in the same space.

Parents free | $15 per child (twins are buy one, get one free)

Parenting is beautiful—and really hard. You’re not alone, and you were never meant to do it alone. Join us for our first Community Chat, where we open up real conversations about parenting life, mental health, and finding your people.

Sometimes you just want to hang out and do something fun together.

From movie nights to creative workshops and seasonal events, these are low-pressure, come-as-you-are experiences for the whole family.

Q: What is sensory play, and why is it important for my child?

A: Sensory play involves activities that stimulate your child’s senses, such as touch, sight, and hearing. It helps with cognitive growth, motor skills development, and language acquisition. It also promotes creativity and encourages curiosity through hands-on exploration.

Q: Do I need to register in advance for sensory play sessions?

A: While drop-ins are welcome, registering online guarantees you a spot and helps you stay informed about any schedule changes or updates. Plus, by registering, you can take advantage of our membership perks and connect with other parents in the community, creating a supportive network for playdates and more!

Q: Can I bring my older children to the baby or toddler sessions?

A: Yes! All our sessions are all-ages friendly, and siblings are welcome to join. However, the activities and materials are designed for the listed age groups to ensure safety and developmental appropriateness.

Q: What should my child wear to the session?

A: Please dress your child in clothes you don’t mind getting messy. We use washable paints, but some materials may stain. Aprons are provided, but it’s best to come prepared for fun, messy play!

Q: Are the materials safe for babies and toddlers?

A: Absolutely! We use non-toxic, taste-safe materials that meet Canadian safety standards. However, we ask parents to supervise younger children closely to prevent choking hazards, especially in sessions involving pasta, peas or cereal.

Q: Do paints wash off?

A: The short answer is no! All our paints are non-toxic and kid-friendly but even tempera paints can stain white clothes. Acrylic paints DO NOT wash off so please advise your guests accordingly of your choice of activity!

Q: Do I need to stay with my child during the session?

A: Yes, parent or guardian supervision is required throughout the session. We do not offer drop-off services. Sensory play is designed to be a shared experience, and your participation enhances your child’s learning and enjoyment! For children under 4, we ask that you remain within arm’s reach for safety.

Q: How long does each session last?

A: Each session runs from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. You’re welcome to stay for the full duration or come and go as suits your schedule.

Q: Can we do more than one activity?

Yes, you can definitely add more than one activity! Each extra activity is $75, and if it requires additional time, there's an extra $50 charge for an additional 30 minutes to ensure you have ample time for all the fun. Please mention it in the comment section when you book.

Q: Are there any weekend sessions available?

A: Yes! We offer all-ages weekend sessions once a month. Check our schedule for the upcoming dates: October 26, November 23, and December 21.
