What to expect & Cancellation Policies

Camps & Classes 

  1. For Camps: You are requested to fill out a health screening questionnaire before the first day

  2. For classes and after-school programs: You are requested to perform a daily health screening of your child.

  3. Routine daily screening for all staff is performed. Upon arrival, parents and students are requested to line up outside (socially distanced), students' temperature will be taken using a non-contact thermometer, and will be asked to wash their hands upon entering.

  4. Routine and frequent environmental disinfecting.

  5. Explicit policy for children or staff who have the symptoms of a cold, flu, or COVID-19 not coming into camp or class..

  6. During pickup, parents are requested to line up outside (socially distanced), students will be ready with all their things and will meet you outside one at a time, if entering the facility parents are requested to wear masks.

  7. Parents experiencing any concerns or having questions can email info@happimess.net and we will reply to their email as soon as we can. 

Please don't forget to dress for a mess, pack a healthy lunch and snack, and a bottle of water. For outside time please send appropriate clothes for the weather and apply sunscreen & bug spray if needed.

Our schedule for the day runs as follows:

9:00 Drop off time (please line up outside for sign in)

9:00-9:30 Settling in/introductions and unstructured play

9:30-10:30 Art time (step-by-step painting)

10:30-10:45 Snack time

10:45-11:00 Washing hands and getting ready for outside play (please dress for the weather)

11:00-11:45 Outside time

11:45-12:30 Art time (outside crafts, weather allowing)

12:30-1:00 Lunchtime

1:00-1:30 Unstructured creative time

1:30-2:30 Art time (Applied arts)

2:30-2:45 Play and cleanup time

2:45-3:00 Washing up and getting ready for pick-up

Cancellations and Refunds: This includes, but is not limited to the following: Summer Camps, Spring Break Camps, Winter Holiday Camps and Pro D Day Camps.

  • Please note that our camp deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE, an invoice will be sent prior to the start of camp for the remaining amount. Full payment is due 5 days after date sent and your camp spot is only secured after payment is completed in full. Your spot will be passed on to the next person on the waitlist after 5 days. Should you choose to cancel your reservation prior to that please notify us at info@happimess.net.

  • Wait-listed campers will be prioritized by the order of our online registration process. Wait-listed campers will be given 24 hours to claim their spot before moving onto the next wait-listed camper on our list.

  • In the event Happimess has to cancel all or part of a program due to a positive COVID-19 test or a change to the provincial guidelines, Happimess will provide all families with a full credit, to any of our services or products, for the amount paid (or pro-rated if the program has already started).

  • Cancellations due to sickness (medical note required) will receive a credit to any of our services or products, refunds will be issued only on a case-by-case basis and are up to the discretion of Happimess's management team.

  • For all other cancellations prior to 13 days NO refund or credit will be issued.​

 
 

Adult Nights

  1. All participants are requested to fill out a health screening questionnaire before the event.

  2. Upon arrival, please line up outside (socially distanced) and you will be checked in 1 at a time.

  3. Explicit policy for participants or staff who have the symptoms of a cold, flu, or COVID-19 not coming to the event.

  4. Practicing social distancing, increased spacing between participants, allowing for socially distanced 1-1 guided instruction when needed.

  5. Mandatory mask-wearing for all participants in common areas and when leaving their assigned table.

  6. Reducing the possibility of transmission by; reducing event sizes.

  7. Drinks will be served at the work table and no shared snacks will be provided. 

  8. All attendees 19+ must provide proof of vaccine to enter.

  9. If you have any concerns or questions please email info@happimess.net and we will reply within 24hours. 

Cancellations and Refunds: 

  • Should the provincial guidelines change and we need to postpone the event, your ticket will not expire and you will be notified of the new date, if you are unable to make the new date a refund will be issued.

  • Cancellations due to not passing the health check questionnaire will receive credit to any of our services or products, NO refunds will be issued.

  • Cancellations due to sickness (medical note for ticket holder required), will receive credit to any of our services or products, refunds will be issued only on a case-by-case basis and are up to the discretion of Happimess' management team.

  • For all other cancellations prior to 13 days of the event NO refund or credit will be issued.​

 

Birthday Parties

  1. It is the birthday host's responsibility to ensure that all guests have no symptoms on the day of the party and have had none in the 5 days prior to the party.

  2. Upon arrival, parents are requested to drop off party guests outside (exceptions may be made in cases of separation anxiety.), guests will be asked to wash their hands upon entering.

  3. Practicing social distancing by limiting our party options to low contact activities.

  4. Reducing the possibility of transmission by reducing party sizes and limiting the number of adults attending.

  5. During pickup, parents are requested to line up outside (socially distanced), guests will be ready with all their things and will meet you outside one at a time.

  6. All attendees 19+ must provide proof of vaccine

  7. Parents experiencing any concern or having questions can email info@happimess.net and we will reply to their email within 24hours. 

What to bring:

  • Food and snacks (we recommend individually portioned)

  • Dress for a mess, our paints do not wash off.
