Welcome to the Art Fundamentals class at Happimess! Designed for both beginners and seasoned artists, this course runs on school days from 5:15-6:30 and immerses students in the essential principles and techniques of art. Through a variety of painting and drawing projects, students explore different mediums and styles, gaining a comprehensive understanding of composition, color theory, perspective, proportion, light and shadow, and form. Led by passionate instructors who provide clear demonstrations and step-by-step instructions, our class emphasizes hands-on learning. We encourage active engagement with the artistic process, allowing students to apply their knowledge directly to their projects. While we prioritize thorough learning, we understand the importance of taking time, and classes may run long as students immerse themselves in their art. By the end of the course, students will have developed the skills to create captivating artwork. Please note that classes do not run on Pro-D days or statutory holidays. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy for Classes To secure your spot in a class, full payment is required at the time of registration. 1. Registration Fees: Registration fees are non-refundable. 2. Cancellation by Participant: If you need to cancel your enrollment in a class, please notify us at least 10 days before the class start date by sending an email to info@happimess.net. Upon timely cancellation, you will receive a credit that can be applied towards any of our services or products. 3. Waitlist Policy: In the event a spot becomes available in a class, waitlisted students will be prioritized based on the order of our registration process. Waitlisted students will have 24 hours to claim their spot before we move on to the next student on the list. 4. Cancellation by Happimess: If Happimess cancels all or part of a scheduled class for any reason, we will provide full credit towards any of our services or products for the amount paid (or pro-rated if the class has already started). 5. Late Cancellations: For all other cancellations made within 10 days or less of the class start date, no refunds or credits will be issued. 6. Missed Classes: Any missed classes during the session will not be credited or reimbursed in any way. 7. Attire and Responsibility: We are not responsible for any ruined clothes. While aprons are provided, we recommend that children wear messy clothes to the classes. 8. Liability Waiver: By enrolling in our classes, you agree to release Happimess from any liability for personal injury, damage, or loss of personal property while attending our classes.
