Welcome to the final semester of Art Fundamentals at Happimess—where skill-building meets artistic independence. Designed for both beginners and experienced artists, this term deepens students’ understanding of core principles like composition, color theory, perspective, proportion, light and shadow, and form. Through guided projects and more self-directed work, students refine their techniques while developing their own artistic style. In this final semester, students will take on their year-end gallery project—a larger-scale canvas piece that reflects their growth, creativity, and personal voice. With instructor support, they will move through the full artistic process from concept to completion, building both technical skills and confidence in their ideas. Our year-end gallery is a powerful celebration of our students’ work and artistic journeys. It also serves as our only fundraiser of the year, with all proceeds going toward sponsoring children to attend summer camps completely free, in partnership with Sea to Sky Community Services. Students become artists with impact—using their creativity to give back to their community. Classes run on Mondays from 5:15–6:30 PM and do not run on Pro-D days or statutory holidays
