About the Event
Morning Session: "SFX & Make-up" (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
A focused SFX & makeup camp where young artists will explore the world of beauty, character creation, and special effects! Taught by the incredibly talented local SFX artist Madison Skrypnek, this camp blends glamour and gore in the best possible way.
Campers will learn how to apply gorgeous, age-appropriate makeup, develop healthy skincare routines using quality products, and dive into the world of special effects—think realistic blood, bruises, and simple prosthetics! Along the way, they'll be encouraged to express their creativity, explore character design, and gain confidence in both everyday and theatrical makeup. Combine it with our Watercolour Camp and enjoy a full day of creativity from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM. Campers who stay for both sessions will enjoy a supervised lunch break in between (please bring a packed lunch).
