Welcome to our Art and Design class for ages 8-12! Get ready to embark on an exciting artistic journey where big art concepts are taught in simple and engaging ways. Through a combination of drawing and painting projects, as well as applied arts projects and crafts, we will ignite your creativity and introduce you to the world of art and design. Our class is thoughtfully designed to cater to young artists aged 8-12, creating a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone can flourish. Whether you're a beginner or have some artistic experience, our curriculum is tailored to meet you at your skill level and help you grow. With a focus on drawing and painting projects, we explore various mediums and techniques to build your artistic foundation. From learning basic drawing skills to experimenting with colors and brushwork, you will develop a solid understanding of art fundamentals. We believe that complex concepts can be simplified and made accessible to young learners, allowing them to grasp and apply these concepts effectively. In addition to art, we delve into the world of design through applied arts projects and crafts. By incorporating design principles into hands-on activities, we foster creativity, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking. From designing posters to creating three-dimensional crafts, you will learn to apply design principles in a fun and practical way. Led by our experienced instructors, who are passionate about both art and teaching young minds, our classes provide a nurturing and supportive environment. They guide you through each project with clear instructions, demonstrations, and individualized feedback. Our goal is to foster your artistic growth, encourage self-expression, and nurture your unique creative voice. Our classes run on school days from 3:45-5:00 pm, ensuring a convenient schedule for students. Please note that classes are not held on statutory holidays or professional development days, allowing for consistency in your learning journey.
