25/26 Creative Expression | 3rd Semester

Service Description

Welcome back to Creative Expressions for ages 7–10—our final semester of the year! This term continues to build on the strong foundation students have developed, helping them grow their confidence while exploring new ideas in fun, accessible ways. Through a variety of drawing, painting, and mixed media projects, students will continue learning essential art concepts in age-appropriate, engaging lessons. Our approach of introducing a concept over 2–3 weeks followed by dedicated creative exploration remains, giving students both the structure to learn and the freedom to express themselves. As we move into this final semester, students will begin working toward their year-end gallery piece—a larger canvas project that allows them to apply their skills, showcase their creativity, and take pride in what they’ve learned throughout the year. Our year-end gallery is a celebration of each student’s artistic journey and growth. It also serves as our only fundraiser of the year, with all proceeds going toward sponsoring children to attend summer camps completely free, in collaboration with Sea to Sky Community Services. Students become part of something meaningful—using their creativity to give back to their community. Led by our experienced instructors, this class continues to provide a supportive and inclusive environment where every child can thrive. Classes run on school days from 3:45–5:00 PM and do not run on statutory holidays or Pro-D days.
