OUR COVID-19 STRATEGIES

Camps Strategies

  1. You are requested to fill out a health screening questionnaire before the first day of camp.

  2. Routine daily screening for all staff and campers. Upon arrival, parents and campers are requested to line up outside(socially distanced), parents will sign campers in without entering the facility (Exceptions may be made in cases of separation anxiety.), camper's temperature will be taken using a non contact thermometer and will be asked to wash their hands upon entering.

  3. Routine and frequent environmental disinfecting.

  4. Explicit policy for children or staff who have the symptoms of a cold, flu, or COVID-19 not coming into camp.

  5. Practicing social distancing by engaging the children with more individual hands on activities, increased spacing between kids at work tables, being outside as much as weather would allow, limiting number of kids/sensory bin or painting activity, no hugs or touching unless in emergency situations.

  6. Reducing possibility of transmission by; reducing camp sizes to a maximum of 8 kids (exceptions made only for siblings), strong focus in the daily routine on frequent washing of hands and other hygiene practices, cancelling our facepaint time and replacing it with a different activity, changing our booking policy to full week bookings only to create a bubble that will act as a family with the same kids for the whole week and may at times be closer than 2M apart.

  7. During pickup parents are requested to line up outside(socially distanced),campers will be ready with all their things and will meet you outside one at a time, parents will sign campers out without entering the facility.

  8. Parents experiencing any concern or having questions can email info@happimess.net and we will reply to their email within 24hours. 

What they'll need:

  • Sunscreen; must be applied by parents before children are dropped off for camp.

  • Water bottle, a snack and lunch. (We are NOT a nut free facility, we take adequate precautions should we have a camper who is allergic and you will be notified beforehand)

  • Dress for a mess, our paints do not wash off.

Cancellations and Refunds: 

 
 

Adult Night Strategies

  1. All participants are requested to fill out a health screening questionnaire before the event.

  2. Upon arrival,please line up outside (socially distanced) and you will be checked in 1 at a time.

  3. Explicit policy for participants or staff who have the symptoms of a cold, flu, or COVID-19 not coming to the event.

  4. Practicing social distancing, increased spacing between participants, allowing for socially distanced 1-1 guided instruction when needed.

  5. Reducing possibility of transmission by; reducing event sizes to a maximum of 6 participants (exceptions made only for couples and family units)

  6. Drinks will be served at work table and no shared snacks will be provided.

  7. If you have any concerns or questions please email info@happimess.net and we will reply within 24hours. 

Cancellations and Refunds: 

  • Should the provincial guidelines change and we need to postpone the event, your ticket will not expire and you will be notified of the new date, if you are unable to make the new date a refund will be issued.

  • Cancellations due to sickness or not passing the health check questionnaire will receive credit to any of our services or products, refunds will be issued only at a case-by-case basis and is up to the discretion of Happimess' management team.

  • For all other cancellations prior to 13 days of the event NO refund or credit will be issued.​

 

Birthday Party Strategies

  1. It is the birthday host's responsibility to ensure that all guests have no symptoms on the day of the party and have had none in the 14 days prior to the party.

  2. Upon arrival, guests are requested to line up outside (socially distanced), parents will sign kids in without entering the facility (exceptions may be made in cases of separation anxiety.), guests will be asked to wash their hands upon entering.

  3. Practicing social distancing by limiting our party options to low contact activities.

  4. Reducing possibility of transmission by reducing party sizes to a maximum of 6 kids (exceptions made only for siblings), and 2 adults.

  5. During pickup parents are requested to line up outside (socially distanced), guests will be ready with all their things and will meet you outside one at a time, parents will sign kids out without entering the facility.

  6. Parents experiencing any concern or having questions can email info@happimess.net and we will reply to their email within 24hours. 

What to bring:

  • Food and snacks (we recommend individually portioned)

  • Dress for a mess, our paints do not wash off.

Cancellations and Refunds: 

  • Cancellations due to sickness will receive credit to any of our services or products, refunds will be issued only at a case-by-case basis and is up to the discretion of Happimess' management team.

  • For all cancellations prior to 13 days NO refund or credit will be issued.​
